If you are running Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (version 1709) or higher, you may find an application called Mobile Plans on your computer.
What are Mobile Windows 10 plans?
Mobile Plans is a free Microsoft application designed to make it easy to view and index mobile data plans and purchase them through the Windows Store.
According to the Windows Store, Windows 10 users can use the Mobile Plans application to purchase mobile data plans to connect to premium Wi-Fi hotspots or cellular networks in your live area.
If you do not have free Wi-Fi hotspots around or you need data packets to access the Internet on the go, you can use the Mobile Plans app.
Although this is a useful app, not all of us like to use it. In addition to using mobile data services on Windows 10 devices, your device must have a mobile modem that most Windows 10 devices do not have. (As a rule, your Windows 10 device must have a mobile modem as well as a supported SIM card to use mobile data.
Finally, as you know, paid cellular data plans are not available in all regions or countries. As a result, the Mobile Plans application may not display packets in your country or region even if your computer or device is integrated with mobile modems.
You can delete it through the Settings app or use a third-party utility such as CCleaner to uninstall the Mobile Plans application from Windows 10.
