How to record audio from computer without software


There are many software on the computer such as Audacity, Free Sound Recorder, etc. With these software, users can record voice and then edit with many different features.

1. How to record on Windows 7, 8 computer

Step 1:

Recording tool available on PC is Sound Recorder with Windows 7 and 8.

With Windows 7, open the Startup interface and click on the search box Keyword Sound and will see Sound Recorder.

On Windows 8 users open the Charms menu by hovering over the right edge of the screen. Click on the magnifying glass icon and enter the keyword Sound Recorder and will also see the results.

2. How to record on Windows 10

Step 1:

On Windows 10, the tool renamed to Voice Recorder. In the search bar on Windows you enter the keyword is Voice Recorder, then click on the results found.

Step 2:

Step 3:

Recording time will also be displayed on the interface. To pause recording press the Pause icon below.

Step 4:

Trash icon to delete the recording file if desired. Pen icon to name the recording file. Enter a name for the recording and press Rename to save the new name.

Step 6:

Click on the 3 dots icon and then click on Open file location will display the folder of the recording file on the computer.

Recording files are automatically saved on the computer and will be saved in m4a audio format.

Alternatively, you can click on the recording name in the left pane of the interface, right-click and also display the same settings for the recording.
