Part 1: Check for RAM problems on your Windows computer
1. Run the Windows Memory Diagnostics
To run the Windows Memory Diagnostics tool, first open the Start Menu, then type Windows Memory Diagnostic into the Search box on the Start Menu and hit Enter.
Alternatively, press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run command prompt, then type mdsched.exe in the Run command prompt and press Enter .
You will have to restart your computer to perform the checkout process. During the test, you may not use your computer.

Assuming that test results do not automatically show up on Windows 10, then you can follow the steps below to find the results:
First open Event Viewer by right-clicking Start => Event Viewer . If you use Windows 7, press Windows + R to open the Run command, then enter eventvwr.msc into the Run command prompt and press Enter.
Next on the Event Viewer window, find Windows Logo => System . You will now see a list of events. Click Find in the right pane.
Enter MemoryDiagnostic into the Find box and then click on Find Next and see the results displayed in the bottom corner of the window.
2. Start and run MemTest86
If you are looking for a RAM testing tool , you can download MemTest86 to your installation and use machine. MemTest86 is developed by Microsoft, so this tool will work on the system when enabled by Secure Boot.

Also you can download and use MemTest86 +. However, this tool does not seem to be developed further, and does not work on some new machine lines.
MemTest86 provides both an ISO image that you can burn to a CD or DVD drive and a USB image you can copy to a USB flash drive. Just run the .exe file that you downloaded and provide a USB thumb drive to create a bootable USB drive . This process will wipe the entire contents of the drive.
Once you have created the bootable media, restart your computer and your computer can reboot from the USB drive or drive you copied from the memory test tool.
The tool will restart and automatically scan your memory, run, test, and notify you of any problems or issues that the tool finds. Once done, just press Esc to exit and reboot your computer.
If after checking that the problem is detected, it is possible that your RAM is faulty and you need to replace the new one.
However, in some cases it may be that the RAM is not compatible with the motherboard.

How to use Hardware Identify:
After you have installed the program successfully, you proceed to open Hardware Identify and use. Now on the screen you will see 4 cards appear. However, you only need to pay attention to the two cards are No Drivers Installed and Hardware With Problems to check whether the hardware components on your computer are properly installed or have any hardware problems?
In the bottom right, click Update to ensure that you are using the latest version of the data. You can also select Improve Database to see if any of the devices are added to the database shared by other users.
If any error is detected on the hardware, right-click it on the list. At this point, a menu has a series of options for you to choose from:
