Setting up your PC on the Private Network ensures your computer is secure and secure from other devices via the ISP and users are also suggested to use the Private Network whenever they connect to a network.

The public network is primarily a network of shops, cafes, airports, hotels, …. If you are using a public network, your computer will not be detected on the network and can not share files. This means that if you enable the Public Network, the Networ discover feature on your computer is disabled.
HOW TO SWITCH BETWEEN PUBLIC NETWORK TO PRIVATE NETWORK ON WINDOWS 10
As you know, whenever we connect to a new network for the first time, Windows will ask if we want the computer to be detected by other computers on the same network. In this case, if you choose Yes, Windows implicitly assumes that the network is set to Private. If you select No, Windows will automatically set up the network as Public.
If you want to know whether the network on your Windows 10 computer is Private or Public, you can check it by going to Control Panel => Network and Internet => Network and Sharing Center .
However, you can easily switch between Public Network to Private Network on Windows 10 or vice versa from Private Network to Public Network if you want.
On Windows 10, the process of switching between a public network and a private network (or vice versa) is relatively straightforward and does not involve complex settings.
Option 1: Go To Settings Win 10 To Switch Between Public Network To Private Network

Option 2: Use Homegroup To Switch Between Public Network And Private Network On Windows 10
The next solution to switch between Public Network to Private Network on Windows 10 is to use HomeGroup. In case you use the Settings app but can not switch between Public Network to Private Network, you can follow the steps below:
Step 1: On the Start Menu , enter “HomeGroup” in the Search box, then on the list of search results, click and open HomeGroup.
Step 2: On the HomeGroup setup window, find and select the Change network location option.
Step 3: Now the dialog box appears with the message saying “Do you want to allow your PC to be discoverable by other PCs and devices on this network?”
Step 4: Just click Yes to convert the network type on your Windows 10 computer to Private Network.
If you want to verify the type of network on your computer is Private Network or Public Network, access Control Panel => Network and Internet => Network and Sharing center , under Network you will see the network type is Private Network.

Windows Registry Editor is known to be able to overcome many annoyances on the Windows computer. And in this case is no exception, you can use Windows Registry Editor to switch between Public Network to Private Network on Windows 10 computer, how to open Registry on Windows 10 is also very simple
Note : If you have a lot of experience, you should use the Registry Editor on Windows 10. The Windows Registry Editor is a system related tool, so if something goes wrong or a problem can cause many problems on the system.
Step 1: Press Windows + R key to open the Run window , then enter regedit and press Enter .
Step 2: On the Registry Editor window, navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows NT CurrentVersion NetworkList Profiles
Step 3: In the Key Profiles you will see some subkey. Open each subkey and find the key named ProfileName in the right pane. You need to know the network name of the network type you want to change.
Step 4: After you have found and opened the network, the next step is to change the value of Category DWORD .
To do this, double-click on the Category DWORD in the right pane. On display window Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value , where you set values in a Value data is first converted into Private Network.
If you want to switch to the Public Network, set the value in the Value Data field to 0 and set the value to 2 if you want to switch to the Network Domain.
