How to block websites on Chrome

Sometimes we get in trouble with some sites that frequently appear in search engines on a browser. This is annoying and annoying to many users. So how to block these annoying sites? Very simply, with the help of the Chrome browser extension, we can now block those sites easily.

1. Personal Blocklist

The simplest option to help you block websites from appearing in the Google Search results is Personal Blocklist – an extension provided by Google.

When you install this add-on, you’ll see an option below the Google Search results to Block the domain of that search result. Click that and the site you choose will no longer appear in the search results. If blocked sites appear in search results, you’ll see a message at the bottom of the page indicating that they will not appear because you’ve blocked them, and you can click on the option to display them.

To manage blocked sites, just click the Personal Blocklist extension icon in the Chrome toolbar and you’ll see all of your web pages there.

2. Block Site

The best thing about Block Site is the authentication option. Once you have configured the blocked site list, you can add a password to the Settings page so children can not access and undo what you have blocked.

Once you’ve installed the extension, open the add-ons settings and add the sites you want to block. Check the Enable Authentication box  and enter a password to block access to the settings.

3. StayFocusd

StayFocusd is also one of the best Google Chrome site blocking features. We spend a lot of time browsing Facebook and other entertainment websites so this utility will help you focus on the main job better.

You can specify the date StayFocusd restricts browser activity along with the time each day you spend on time consuming sites. In addition, you can create a list of blocked sites or allowed sites. Another useful feature in this utility is the  Nuclear Option. This feature restricts access to any blocked sites. Furthermore, you can specify how many hours you want to block access.
