Hello Facial Recognition – How to set face recognition on Windows 10

Hello feature of Windows 10 offers many ways to log into your laptop, from passwords to PINs, fingerprint scanning and even face recognition. Facial recognition with Hello Facial Recognition requires infrared or Intel RealSense cameras. So far, that has been limited to the choice of computers, such as Microsoft’s Surface Book and HP’s EliteBook Folio G1. You can also buy some external webcams that will provide this functionality.

Steps to set up face recognition using Hello Facial Recognition on Windows 10.

1. Open your settings and select Accounts .

2. Click on the ” Sign-in options ” option on the sidebar and scroll down to Windows Hello. Click on the ” Set up ” setting in Faces.

If you do not have a PIN, you’ll first need to set it up. It’s right on Windows Hello.

3. Click Start “Get Started”.

4. Enter your PIN

5. Staring at webcam while Windows Hello scans your face. This procedure will be quick.

6. Click Improve Recognition or close the setup process. If you wear glasses or a hat, we recommend that you remove them while scanning your face.

The next time you log into Windows, the camera will ask for your face.
