Gmail Sign out (Mobile, Tablet & PC)

If you want to unsubscribe from Gmail, you must sign out Google Account on your smartphone. However, this has serious consequences. We show the options there.

You can not sign out of the Gmail app on your smartphone or tablet because it has no functionality. Instead, you’ll need to sign out of your Google Account (remove your Google Account from your device). However, smartphones and many applications will not work properly.

Gmail Sign out – Android

Note: If you do, you will be automatically signed out of all other Google applications, including YouTube, Google Maps, and the Play Store. In addition, services like placements no longer work properly.
  1. Open smartphone settings.
  2. Navigate to Accounts, Google.
  3. In the top right, touch the three dots and select Delete account.

You will then be logged out of any Google service.

Gmail Sign out – PC

  1. Open Gmail.
  2. Click your profile picture in the upper right corner.
  3. Click the Log Out button.

Again, you will be signed out of your Google Account using this method. For other Google services such as a note or map, you are also logged out.
