Fix Windows 10 Errors 0xc004e016 and 0xc004c003

First, you must make sure that you are using the unused product key on another computer. Because, if you ‘re using the product key it will work. And if you’re using an authenticated product key but still get 0xc004e016 or 0xc004c003 errors, you can try some of these solutions:

Solution 1 – Run a few Command Prompt commands

  • Right-click on the Start Menu button and open Command Prompt (Admin)

  • Go to Find, type slui.exe 3 and open it.
  • Enter your product key and check whether you can activate Windows now.

If that does not work, you can try another slui.exe command:

  • Go to Find, type slui.exe 4 and open it.
  • Enter your product key and check whether you can activate Windows now.

Solution 3 – Try to upgrade to Windows 10 again

When you upgrade to Windows 10 is a genuine Microsoft Software License with hardware bound and sometimes there may be some activation and hardware related errors, so before you start, Remove all Windows 10 lists from Devices on your Microsoft account.

Perform a reinstall of Windows 8.1 and log on to it with your Microsoft account; make sure your Windows 8.1 is activated by running Command Prompt and typing slmgr.vbs /ato on it.

When Windows 8.1 is enabled, you can upgrade to Windows 10 through Windows Update. Remember to log on to Windows 10 with your Microsoft account. Alternatively, you can run Command Prompt and type slmgr.vbs / ato to see if your Windows 10 has been activated.
