Note: To open a command prompt with administrative rights you need to right-click the “Command Prompt” icon and left-click on “Run as administrator”.
  3. If prompted by the left click message on the “Yes” button to go further.
  4. In the “Command Prompt” window, you will need to write the following command “slmgr.vbs -ipk YYYYY – yyyyy – yyyyy – yyyyy – yyyyy” Note: Replace the Y in the code with your product key number. And also the product key should have 25 numbers.

Third Method:

Open the “Command Prompt” window as you did in the first method and with administrator privileges.

Left click on “yes” button if you are prompted by a window.

Type the following command prompt: “sfc / scannow”.

Let sfc scan run and when it is finished restart your Windows 8 or Windows 10 device.

Check and see if you still have that message.
