How to adjust screen brightness for all operating systems

Option 1: Adjust the screen brightness in Control Panel
- Step 1: Go to Control Panel> Display. Notice that you need to switch to the Large Icon view to select Display faster.
- Step 2: After selecting Display, a new window will appear, choose Adjust Brightness.
Step 3: Now you can adjust the brightness by moving the Screen brightness bar at the bottom.
You can also adjust the brightness of the Screen brightness by clicking on the Battery Pin icon and selecting Adjust screen brightness.
Option 2: Use the keyboard shortcut to adjust the brightness
For the new generation of laptops, almost every laptop is equipped with a shortcut to adjust the screen brightness. Depending on the type of laptop, there will be a separate set of keys.
- For Dell Inspiron Fn + F4 / F5
- For ASUS laptops are FN + F5 / F6
In case the keyboard shortcut does not work, you need to update the display and keyboard drivers.
Adjust the screen brightness on Windows 8/10 with the Settings setting
To open Settings, just use the Windows + I> Brightness shortcut.
